I purchased a service where I needed to send my iPhone via USPS for a screen replacement. They were then to replace the screen and mail it back - so I paid for the service and paid to ship it to them; seller pays to ship it back. In the seller’s listing for the service/item they listed the address to send it to. I used that address and sent it off. Later that day I got a message from them with a different address. They admitted the address on their listing was wrong. Fast forward to about 5 days later and when tracking I see it’s “return to sender address not found”. I want the seller to reimburse for the service and for the $11 I had to pay in shipping. They say they won’t reimburse for shipping because I used the wrong address (the one listed in their listing)! They said they’d cancel the order and reimburse for that but not shipping. What should I do?
second issue - there is no way to track a return to sender package and it’s been over a week and the phone hasn’t been received by me. Do I have any rights to get the full amount of the phone price since it’s likely lost in the mail due to their error?
I just don't know what rights I have with this situation and am looking for help.
Thanks!
