Blind eBay Purchase

The seller, Ashley Bowens is offering a 69 camaro. She wrote the following. Sounds fishy.
Hi again,
As I have told you in my first email, I have a new job and I  have moved to Fort Belvoir, VA. Before leaving I had pre-arranged the  deal with eBay to handle the entire selling process, so my presence  isn't necessary. The car is already in eBay's possession, along with all  the paperwork (title signed by me, keys), so I decided to let them sell  the vehicle for me. eBay will handle the shipping, payment, and the  paper exchange. I signed over a power of attorney which gives them the  right to sell the car for me. You'll get free delivery and it'll arrive  at your address in 1-3 business days, with all the necessary documents  for registration included. It will come with a clear title and reg. You  will have 7 days or 250 miles to test and inspect the car. During that 7  days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need to know if  you are interested so I can ask eBay to send you the details on this  deal. If interested please include in your next email your contact info  for eBay (full name, shipping address (city and zip code) and phone  number), so we can get the ball rolling.

That is a common scam.  eBay doesn't do that for for actual listings on its site, much less for items advertised on other sites.

Report it to the site you found the ad on.

This is a common scam, and you are dealing with a criminal who is trying to steal your money. "Ashley" is more likely a male, and nothing about the story is true.

eBay has nothing to do with listings on other sites, nor do they store vehicles. If the item isn't listed on the eBay website and if you don't purchase it through the eBay listing, the transaction has nothing at all to do with eBay.

You can report the listing to the site where you found it.
