It’s bad enough that eBay charges an arm and a leg for their service. They hold your money for 30 days to run their business with no compensation to the customer for using their money.
Than they restrict your account while they check that you delivered items that THEY sold a shipping label for. Causing more expense to the customer (me) in downtime and lost sales.
Someone needs to start a competitive company so that they can’t take advantage of their customers.
This should be illegal!!!!

Hi @dakc_16
Here is a link to the user agreement you signed when you became an eBay member:

Here is a link to the payment holds policy you agreed to each time you listed an item:
Purchasing a shipping label does not prove delivery, no matter where you buy it.

All new or returning sellers are subject to this 30 day hold. It is for your protection as well as eBay's. A customer can return an item up until 30 days. If you have already spent the money, eBay will have to take the money from your checking account. If it's on hold, that doesn't need to happen. Once you are established, this hold will go away.

These fine print agreements do not make this ok or ethical!!

I have been selling for over 2 months and still am having funds held. Then, once things start to take off. They restrict the account and shut me down while they verify the account. All while giving no feedback on status.
I just feel eBay is taking advantage of their position and not being mindful of the people putting in the work to provide their income.
