Basic store

I have so many questions - thanks to everyone who’s helped!

my current listing/selling limit is 100. On the website it says:

A basic store gets 250 auctions, plus 1,000 fixed price listings, plus 10,000 fixed price listings in specific categories.

I signed up for a Basic Store - why are these benefits not given to me?

You are correct that all sellers get UP TO 250 free insertion listings per month. A Basic store will add UP TO 250 additional insertion free listings per month.

However all selling limits still apply, since your selling limit is below the 500 listings then you will only be able to list your limit of 100.

On the page linked by @lisa5768  you can request a selling limit increase. I have also read that trying to list an item above your limit and being declined is a way to for the system to see that you are ready for an increase. I don’t know if this is true, but it can’t hurt 🙂

Once your limit is increased, your basic store will give 250 auctions plus 1,000 fixed price insertions, or more depending on the category. These amounts replace the 250 you receive without a store, not in addition to them. Again, you will be limited by your new seller personal selling limit.
