Basic Store Monthly Listing Count More than my Actions

I have a Basic store with 1000 listings each month.  I noticed the last few months I am running out of listing counts before I have even done enough and am being charged additional insertion fees.

For example this month:

March 1  - Ended and relisted 25 items and did 6 new listings

March 2 - Ended and relisted 27 items and did 2 new listings

March 3 - Ended and relisted 26 items and did 0 new listings

March 4 - 0 items

March 5 - 0 Items

March 6 - Ended and relisted 26 items and did 0 new listings

This is a total of 112 items but it says I only have available 739 more items to list this month when it should be 888.  I have been an ebay reseller for over 3 years and have always done it this way with no problems or issues but for the last 2-3 months my listing counts are going up with no activity.  Did something change?

Nothing has changed. You have 1200 active items. Each fixed price item uses one of your free insertions each month when it renews, if it does not sell before its anniversary date.

If you have no free insertions remaining, you are charged $.30 for each item listed or renewed.

Thank you.  I thought renewals don't count against your monthly insertions.  Thanks so much for your help.  Gotta love growing pains.
