I was cleaning out my closet and found 2 brand new COVID-19 test kits, and not expiring for a several more months. I'm never going to use them.
When I researched eBay, I saw no one else was selling them, so I got suspicious as to why. Taking the honest route and out of curiosity, I then researched eBay's policies as to their restrictions. I saw nothing that said you could NOT sell COVID-19 test kits.
I was selling them for a very reasonable price- less than what I had paid for them in 2022 (yes, I actually paid money for these, myself) .
Well, after I listed them, eBay then yanked my listing, citing a policy violation pertaining to "Medical Equipment" that needs an Rx, of which these self tests do not, of course. And they're not "medical equipment", either, and they're not FDA approved.
eBay violated their own rules because the excuse they gave for pulling my testing kits was not even valid. What is going on here, I respectfully ask?

You can't sell them here.
i think they let a few approved sellers sell them, but not everyone.
