Automatic translation of item descriptions

Hi: Recently I have seen that eBay automatically translates the description of a listing, from English to Spanish. I live in South America, so probably, by my IP number, eBay knows that I live in a spanish-speaking country.

This happens on some listings, not all of them. Seems to be random.

I hate when this happens, because I want to read the descriptions in its original language.

Is there a setting that I can manage, to avoid these automatic translations?

Hello, same problem here. Some items show "automatic" translation from English to Spanish. It is a disgusting stuff. I never asked for it, and Ebay settings don´t show a way to desactivate it.

They don't even have to check your IPA.  Sometime or another you told them you're in Chile.
