Ebays "automated assistant" is all useless.

You can talk to a human being.

At the bottom of the chat box, type in the word AGENT, then press Send to bypass the bots and get the options to have an agent call you back, or chat live with an agent.

And how much more are you willing to pay in seller fees (or in higher prices to cover the increased seller fees) to train all those humans and pay them what it takes to retain them once they have the skills?

eBay is predominantly self-serve. It is a rare situation that requires you to go through Customer Service rather than do it yourself, and this forum in particular (plus several others) is manned with volunteer eBayers far more knowledgeable than the vast majority of CS reps to help you through the self-service choices.
