Auto Re-List is the dumbest feature and I can't seem to get rid of it!

Auto re-list is clearly the worst, most obnoxious feature of ebay's selling platform.  I understand why ebay favors it, but it should be an easy on/off option. Instead, I have to think twice now about listing an item if I think it won't sell because I won't be able sell it elsewhere or give it away for months.

There used to be a way to enter "Classic View" and turn it off, but that seems gone; I've read a dozen seller comments about how to turn off auto-relist, but that advice must be stale because none of those recommendations work anymore.

Maybe I'm just complaining to the void here, but is anyone else in this pickle?  Does anyone have fresh advice about how to off-switch auto-relist?  Thanks for letting me vent.

@jrk8005   If the listings were created with the APP or quick listing tool then auto relist for auctions is the default.  All fixed priced listings are good until sold until or canceled no mater what listing tool you are using.

You might want to try the new listing tool.

Select New Listing tool on the upper right-hand side of the DRAFT (not an active listing) on a PC/ Mac. You may need to click on 3 little dots on the upper right to change listing tools.

Ignore the warning, anyone can use this tool.

Or start a listing from this link: https://www.ebay.com/sl/prelist/suggest?sr=shstart

Here's a walk through of how to use the New Listing Tool:
