Auto Completion/Payment count down timer?

Wondering if anyone else has seen where you buy something, in this case two items from the same seller (first time purchasing with this seller) where I was presented with count down "timer" on my Purchase page.  I let the time run down (think it was 20-25 mins) and then an Auto Pay was initiated, and my purchase was automatically run through my PayPal.  I normally review my purchases and manually initiate the payment process.       Is this AutoPay something new or the way the seller listed this item?

The Automatic Payment feature has been around for a while. Some sellers have opted out.

I rather like it...if I see an item I want to buy, I purchase it and don't have to worry about having to go through the whole checkout process. I just make sure my Paypal account has the correct "preferred" payment source before I choose to purchase.
