I bought an item, that on receipt of is counterfeit, the sellers refused to refund. And ebay doesn't seem to be much assistance in contacting. How can I contact ebay to get involved in this matter? There live chat just states the sellers refused to refund and its closed, there's no email or other contact options so feel like I'm hitting a brick wall.

All you need to do since the seller is not being cooperative is to use ebay's Money Back Guarantee. Follow the instructions in the link below and you will get a refund. I suggest saving or bookmarking the article for future use.

It says my case is closed as the sellers declined to refund?
I believe I didnt select the correct return status of item not as described and therefore it appears Ebay will not step in to assist?

If you had opened a dispute, there is a 30 day limit on being able to ask ebay to step in otherwise they will close the dispute. There may be a way to deal with that on the U.K. site, but we do not know what the options are. You should login to it and ask about it there.
