I bought an item as a guest. I followed the instructions and asked fora refund as item did not work. eBay stepped in and seller agreed to refund the purchase price. Allotted time went buy with no response. Request screen says to open a case. The next screen allowed me to pick refund not received and then offers a button which says ask eBay to step in (or something similar). Clicking on that button simply returns me to the previous screen with the option to open a case. My request goes no where. There is no way to contact eBay. I have an account which I didn’t use..bought as a guest…and any attempt to contact them defaults to my account which says I didn’t place an order. I have tried the auto bot but I get the same answer. Any ideas. I tried the old directions posted here about following a series of links to ask for a callback but that option apparently doesn’t exist any more.
