Before any G. M. & O. locomotives, freight cars, heavyweight and streamline passenger cars were available commercially, I saw a photograph of a G. M. & O. passenger train with that paint schemed fell in love. That is when I began my custom painting days. In 2005, Hurricane Katrina took away all of my paints, decals, airbrush and more importantly, my custom painted G. M. & O cars and all my other passenger cars except by some miracle, my only set of Illinois Central passenger cars survived. I was so saddened by this loss, I completely stopped working on my n scale trains and custom painting for individuals and hobby shops. I now have grandkids who I want to pass my collection on to.
