I just need to vent here a bit. I was wrestling with a physical issue for the last year and a half. It was all I could do to ship out items on time and keep up with my customers needs. Did a pretty good job I think. Somewhere along the line I lost my Top Seller Plus Status because of late shipments. Honestly, I was so busy that I just took it for granted that I must have shipped out a few items later than I thought and I hovered just over that 3% mark for a good 9 months I think. Recently, I took the time to LOOK at the individual late shipments. MOST OF THEM were not me, they were the postal service. Unfortunately, most of them were passed the dates I could appeal. Ebay states they can't access shipping details beyond 90 days. How hard can it be, I did it fairly easily??? So, I was able to get a few removed that were under the 90 days but, nothing above and they take quite some time to get knocked off. I was able to get my TSPS status back but, this morning I noted a new item on there that arrived within 3 days. I sent an appeal and it was removed. The notification letting me know that most are automatically removed anyhow within a few days. UMMM, NO THEY AREN'T!

@onceuponashelf_gems I totally understand the need to vent. You were dealing with health issues and still "keeping the lights on " with eBay and delivering the orders.
Unfortunately while CS and a seller can SEE the late marks they can't access them to remove anything.
I agree that the auto remove is not always true, although it does happen sometimes.
That's why I always advise sellers to check their dashboards often.
Glad you were able to get your TRS back.
