Angry at seller

I bought a bumper cover for a 2001 Mercury. The seller's listing (falsely) claims the advertised bumper cover is the same for a Mercury Marquis and a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria. They are not. The part did not fit. The seller wont offer an exchange or refund. The sticking point is that I bought the bumper cover in the middle of February when it was too cold to work on the car in the driveway. I stored the bumper cover  in the garage and had faith in the sellers description that the part would fit. I did not check this for myself. Fast forward to a warm day in April when I was able to work on the car. As stated the part did not fit. The seller claims I waited too long to return the cover but I claim I was duped by a false and misleading listing that specifically stated the part would fit and I had no reason not to believe his claim. I put my trust in the seller's description.  I hate to leave negative feed back but what am I to do?  I'm trying to control my anger. Paul

Sorry that happened, but it's to late to do anything through Ebay and it might even be to late to leave feedback.

If you paid through Pay Pal, they give you 180 days to file a claim or file with your credit card.

Have a great day.

Ken; I think E-Bay has an account with my debit card (Visa) umber  in it and that is how I paid. Do you think I could go through Visa? Paul

Thanks for the info Ken.  I never thought of appealing to Visa but I called my broker and he said Visa would look into the case. Thanks again Paul
