Am i being scammed?

I keep getting different people bidding on my item when I except they ask me to text them at a certain number when I refuse they cancel order im new to ebay so is this very common because its now happened twice in a row. I tell them we can chat here on ebay app but it seems they don't want to.

Yes, this is a common way to set your up to be scammed.  As a new seller you unfortunately attract them.

If you have fixed priced items, enable the Immediate Payment Required option.  This will help slow the scammers down and keep your listings active until someone properly pays for it through the ebay checkout.
