I am having an issue with an Adjusted shipping charge from FedX. I shipped an item and a few weeks later I was charged an additional $34 for shipping. The message stated that the package was a few inches bigger than I stated (impossible because I remember how I measured) and that the package weight was 42 lbs not 8 lbs as I listed. (Again impossible as the item was not even close to the 42 lbs). I have searched eBay and can not find how to contest this from FedX. I was told by eBay customer service that they would look into it but I just got off the phone with customer service for a follow up 1 week later and they did not know what I was talking about and the agent did not seem to know what to do.

Carriers also consider Dimensional Weight and that is what is charged if higher than Actual Weight. So if it was a large package that is what you are being charged for
