Add Tracking Number not saving info and marking item as shipped for one particular item

I've never had this issue before.  But I've been trying to add a usps (working) tracking number for a parcel manually.  Am able to add it as normal with the full, correct number, which automatically populates the carrier box as 'usps.'

But every time I press submit, it goes through as if everything was ok (no error messages), but I go back to my seller panel and it still shows as 'you need to ship 1 item.'

No matter what I do, it will not stick for this particular item.

Which is odd, because I just successfully added 2 other usps tracking numbers for items that were purchased the same day.

It's just this one particular item that will not bite.  Any ideas?  This is driving me crazy, and I need to add the number as I'm Top Rated and don't want to miss eBay's ridiculous ship by deadlines.

@rostar_art_prints   Have you tried another browser?   Try clearing your browser history.  Turn off any adblockers, sometimes updates to the adblocker program can do odd things on ebay.  

You can also try uploading the number using the app.

Just curious why you would not use ebay labels since they cost less than at the post office for most mail classes.  The number is automatically uploaded

Also, are you aware of the new special mail class for trading cards?   It can only be purchased through ebay labels, comes with tracking so you still qualify for TRS using it.  Costs much less than regular first class.

   It is only good on cards $20 or under, but still a very good deal.
