Accidentally canceled a sale

I canceled a buyer's winning bid on accident. I forgot they were waiting on another auction of mine to end in order to combine the items. How do I reverse a canceled winning bid for this buyer?

Accidentally canceled a sale

@joannewendi2012,

My computer is being wonky, because of an update.   So ended my last post to try and fix it.

If the auto cancellation is how the sale was cancelled, your buyer received an unpaid item strike. To get that strike removed from their profile, it would be best to contact ebay through their Facebook or Twitter pages.  You will need to tell the reps, what happened, and  ask that the strike be removed. You will need to provide the buyer's username, and the ebay item number.  Sign it with both your real name and ebay username, Leave a contact option, your ebay email will work, in case the rep has a question.  You can use the links below to reach ebay.

@joannewendi2012,

I take it you use ebay's automated unpaid item system which cancels a transaction after 4 days, and that is how the transaction was cancelled.  You can customize it to give buyers more days to pay, for auctions ending days apart. The link below explains how.                                                                                                 https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/resolving-unpaid-items?id=4137

Once a sale has been cancelled you cannot reverse that.  You can however relist the item removing most of the title and list it as Private listing for (buyer username) as a Buy It Now listing.  You and the buyer should agree on a time convenient for them to make the purchase and schedule the start time, so someone doesn't buy it out from under them.

If the other auction thy wanted to bid on has ended you can turn off the auto cancellation, for that transaction, until you and the buyer work things out.  Once both purchases have been completed the buyer can request a total for combined shipping.

You may want to add a blurb to your listings stating your combined shipping policy. Ex: I will combine shipping for items bought in the same week Sunday - Saturday or what ever time frame you choose.

Thank you. I wish it was a little easier, but it was my mistake.
