Accepting payment in U.S. Bank cashier's check

I have a  listing for sale and now have a bidder from Brazil. I contacted and amended my auction which has 3 days left and told him he may retract his bid if he can't meet my payment either in U.S. currency or U.S.Bank cashier's check. I did have in my original ad that I can work with their shipper, but they have to arrange shipping. Couldn't  see if I can block a bidder and didn't want to, but waiting on him to contact me if he can meet my payment requirement. Thanks

Cashiers checks are not an accepted method of payment on Ebay.

The following payment methods, which are offered at eBay checkout, are allowed:

  • PayPal
  • PayPal Credit
  • Credit card or debit card
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Payment upon pickup

If the buyer does not pay for their order after 4 days using one of those methods, you can cancel the transaction, stating the buyer did not pay.

Your listing is a Honda motorcycle, with local pickup only.  How is the buyer in Brazil planning on picking this up?

You don't need to add cashier's check specifically - you have 'other' listed, and that is even more than needed.  Final payments for vehicles are always completed outside of eBay, so you can accept any form of payment you choose.

Do be careful, since even cashier's checks can be faked.
