When you are in a auction, is normal that appear one price in the item, but when you increase that bid, the item have another hidden price that is not displayed and sometimes it even has a date before the current one, and of course beats your bid. That’s normally work of that way? Thanks to whoever clarifies my doubt

@felalde_2 That's how bidding works. You are bidding against other buyers hidden max bids. So when you bid more then the other buyers max bid amount is used. This is why it's a good idea to bid your max amount on an auction once and not try to chip away at another bidders hidden reserve.

Yes, as a previous bidder may have already placed a higher bid long before yours, but ebay only displays the amount just high enough to win the auction until another higher bid is made.
