404 , ebay down more than up

I am sick and tired of ebay IT amateurs.

Ebay is down more often than up.

They need to shake up their etch-a-sketch or hire 1st grade students to manage their IT department.

Have they EVER heard of redundant servers?

Using identical mirrored servers with radius authentication?

Why is amazoncom seemingly never down?

And ebays bad attitude thinking they are not required to have live customer service answer their phones?

But they are NOT ASHAMED to increase seller final fees.!!!

With all the money they charge us, they SHOULD be able to afford humans instead of fleabay robots that do nothing.

Not seeing any indications that eBay has been down at all in the last twenty-four hours:

If eBay were having a site-wide issue or large numbers of users were unable to reach ebay.com, I would expect there to be hundreds of reports appearing on downdetector relatively quickly.

What were you trying to do when you encountered a problem? It is possible that a particular page or feature was not working correctly for you, but eBay itself was still reachable.

eBay does not have a public number for customer service, but you should be able to request a call back through Help & Contact page, provided you can reach that, or through social media if you cannot.

I'm on eBay for 16 hours a day, every day, and the last time I can remember the site being down was years ago. I haven't seen reports posted here in the community of the site being down for anyone else.

Perhaps you are having some other problem (internet connection, outdated browser, browser needing cache and cookies cleared, a reboot, trying a different browser, etc.).
