I tried to sell a gold necklace that is marked with 14k and 585. It failed the inspection (the metal was not as described in the listing). I would like to try again to sell this but want to be sure I'm accurately describing the item. Is there a way to the details on exactly "why" it failed...why the metal was not as described?
Thanks!

Hello greatday_99,
eBay is working on explaining why a piece of jewelry failed the authenticity guarantee. Right now, that explanation process is only available for streetwear and handbags. With that process, eBay would let both the Buyer and the Seller know the reason and ask how to proceed. In the meantime, I'm attaching a link to the Authenticity Guarantee details for fine jewelry. Hopefully, that will help.
