Consider,
e-bay wants you to buy
if the item is found to fast you stop looking
so the item is placed where you would only look after you see what it is.
E-bay will give you clues to throw you off and send you to areas with lots of items for you to look at.
It is a sales scam,
make them look and hope they buy.
Do us all a favor do not fall for it look where they do not point.

the thing i'd like to know is why not if someone really found the winning listing and won why didn't ebay put a link in there to the specific winning listing and show it being won by the ebay username who found it, its not like we don't know who bids on an item and wins the auction.instead they put some generic listing name and "yes " in found section.i think its all a self generated ebay system listing...what a load of crap...for instance the clue "know nothing party nominee, ends up being buffalo wing sauce.yet there is no completed listing or active listing with that specifically generic criteria.some of the clues do not make sense to what they listed as being the end result.

Wow Read this The truth...

gbguy74, the reason ebay didn't show the winning pages in the UK Xmas hunts, were so that low life blood sucking scum, born from the loins of satans heinous smelling secretions, didn't copy it to host a fake auction, with a large BIN price, knowing that some poor sucker whose only income is from cleaning out the chicken coop will find it, get far too excited to take it all in, start dribbling profusely then hit the dreaded BIN button and sign his life away thinking he's just won a prize/£1000 etc, (which is probably going to be equal to his gross salary for the next twenty years).

Hope that explains it.

HI elami, stick with it, it does suck at times, but it is also great fun.

We had a scream over the pond playing the Xmas hunts & made some great friends in the chat rooms (although there seems like a lot more animosity on your side of the Atlantic
