I'm not really playing hard at this, but if there were a way to search for items that meet the criteria others mentioned already PLUS zero hits on the counter, that might help you "zero" in on it. I'll bet there are some smarty-pants programmers out there doing all kinds of fancy searches that are impossible for us regular joes. Maybe when the contest is over the winners will share their secrets to success.
It doesn't matter what kind of fancy searches you do, a person still has to realize its the winning auction and click the Buy-It-Now of the winning auction. There is no way to search for a zero counter (as of yet). That is why there is only an image in winning auction so you can't search for text. Ebay has thought this out well. The game is fair for those with optimized computers and good internet connections.
