PC HELP!! ANYBODY PC SAVEY..THINK ITS GOING TO BLOWUP!!

Keep having to run repair internet explorer. this started out as hotmail problem they have had me everywhere here redoing stuff. Now sign on when I can, get cannot find microsoft server css not responding msgsur32 not responding keep having to shut down and reboot, then am having to go thru ctl alt delete most of the time. while online performance is running at 63% off line 79%?? run netscape. Seems like when first start out everything going along fine, then the pc slows to turle speed and then won't do anything have deleted temp. files, cookies, history off line files. Not real pc savy here, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

HEY ILL TRY TO HELP TRY DUMPING YOUR TEMP INTERNET FILES,COOKIES AND CLEAR YOUR HISTORY THIS MAY HELP IF ITS TO FULL IT WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR PC EVEN WITH DSL IT KEEPS HAPPING TO ME TOO, I HOPE THIS HELPS YA

Sounds like it could possible be a spyware problem, try running spybot, or adaware and see what it finds

Yes and deffinatly clear your history and cach files also.

AdAware should do it. History/Cache/Temp files shouldn't be the problem, that takes up hardly any space/memory. It's more than likely spyware from software somebody download that was advertised as 'free', wonder why they're free 😉

I wouldnt think that the History or Chache would cause this either, but its always a good Idea to delete them once in a while anyways, it will help you with future problems. Go tot the lavasoft.com website and download the free version of Ad-aware, this should solve much of your problem. 😉

I'm definitely with helgriffen and snowy_guy; it's spyware/malware, that is, programs that were installed by some website to track your web-surfing. Not all these programs are "bad," but those that are can really screw up your system.

First, download and run "Adaware" (free). Go to

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

My guess is that AdAware will fix the problem, but just to make sure...

Then go to

http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/

for a free, limited registry scan.

You can buy upgraded versions of both programs, but usually the free version works fine. I use both, and run them every week or two. Note that AdAware will remove stored internet passwords unless you specifically tell it not to, but storing passwords is a Bad Idea anyway.
