Did you mean:

NOT luck, NOT random; you are just bad at the game...

To all of the people who think all of these prizes are being "stumbled upon,": you're wrong.
To those who insist that the answers make "no sense": you're unintelligent.

Yeah, it's hard, and I don't think I'll find one either, but for free money, you'll need some luck and some smarts. Get over it.

lol, do you have any idea how many people are playing this game? when you have at least 30 million users registered with ebay, and at least 5 million of those users just browsing through ebay, and one finds a auction that states they win 1000, they will claim it.

So, your wrong, through some may have guessed it.. I highly doubt some of these questions, people know the answers to.

I do agree that a few are inevitably "found" while shopping, but I've been reading so many conspiracy theories about how someone at eBay is telling a relative the answer because thats the only way to get the statue of liberty from eiffel. You're right, TONS of people are playing, and many of them are intelligent and capable of lateral/creative thinking. They are the ones finding the majority of the clues, I would imagine..

i totally agree with you

people are getting mad because the answer does not make sense to them but to someone else it obviously did other wise it would not have been found (excluding the winner who came upon one by accident)

If I was Chu, I don't know if I'd feel safe on the streets anymore - lots of attention, and not all of it positive..

I agree, most have a connection. It can be way out there - but it is there. I knew Eiffel designed the Statue of Liberty or rather the internal framework, but it is still frustrating until someone else explains the connection.

I agree with the fact that they are being found by accident. The answers make sense, but there is no way that someone can read the clue, search through thousands of listings, and then find it it less than 1 second. It's just not possible, yesterday the minute a clue was listed it was GONE!!!

I would suggest that no one has found it "in less than 1 second," and just because there are thousands of listings doesn't mean that everyone looking in the right place must look at all of them before arriving at the winning listing! Sometimes, it will be first, and given the number of people searching, I think that "purposeful" finding is far more likely than "accidental".
Ever played the lotto? I mean, it just isn't possible that someone picked ALL OF THE RIGHT NUMBERS! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE ODDS ARE?????
Except that they do sometimes.

Your right! These auctions are NOT being found fairly!!!!

And the CLUES are not being seen at the same time as everyone else! (and it has nothing to do with computer speed, etc...)

I am SURE at least 50% or more are unfairly found. (like ebay employees giving answers away)

Wouldnt you give away 1000 to your friends and relatives if you could... why of course!

Exactly who are you agreeing with? Because my whole premise is that conspiracy theories like that one are wrong. You're thinking that the answers are posted over the water-cooler at eBay? And that they believe that having a contest where no real people win is good for business? And that some enterprising young reporter won't track down the winners list and compare it to eBay employee lists? Really? What makes you "SURE"?

TO NMEDTNER: excuse me but I consider myself very intelligent, and have not been able to come up with a lot of these... yes some are a little easier than others, BUT I am not BAD at this game, and there are many others who feel the SAME way as I do!!!!!!!!

Ebay sucks!

It sure is amazing what a little free money does to people's heads. Stop complaining about not winning because it "isn't fair" and "eBay is cheating" and if you don't like it, go work at your real job to make money you earn fairly.
