I doubt that would ever happen because the contests would end too quickly. The way things are going now, It's luck, not chance.
Ebay only throws out clues to give you the impression it's a treasure hunt, but with the millions and gazillions of items listed on ebay. They'll always give you a clue that narrows it down to a good 400 thousand entries..but from there you're still grabbing wind in the sky.
ebay is just killing the sellers ability to reach people. People are so spaced out browsing through thousands of unrelated ads that they aren't stopping to look at the ads of the items they are REALLY interested in while legitimate sellers are losing out on the loss of potential buyers / bids which is what ebay was all about.
Hey Chu, maybe you should help the ebay execs see the marketing damage they are doing to the sellers of the board and stop focusing on google searches, last time I checked. ebay.com still came up #1 when I searched for ebay. 😛
And sellers out there, perhaps you should stop posting listings untill these shinanagans are over because you're only reaching out to 50-70% of your targeted audiences.....the rest are too busy browsing around for something they ain't gonna find...
