I am selling a huge collection of vintage and MCM jewelry that I am selling for a friend. I've been able to match many pieces to others that are being sold online. But I'm struggling with certain pieces. This is a brooch that is not marked. Can anyone give me a suggestion for price or help me to know if the stones are acrylic or glass? I know they aren't genuine gemstones (sadly : )) Any input would be greatly appreciated!

It's absolutely impossible to discern glass from acrylic in a photo. The best way to tell is to gently tap a stone against your teeth. Glass will have a sharp sort of tinging tap, acrylic more of a clunk. The piece isn't incredibly old, likely 1960s. Large cabachon stones like that really weren't that popular in the 50s.

also glass and stone will be cold to the touch of your cheek, plastic a bit warmer
