I need help Identifying these 2 Small Glass Lighting? Globes:
BOTH are about 4-1/2” in diameter.
BOTH have only 1 hole in them.
BOTH look old.
The gold globe seems to have been for a wall sconce.
I think it is an apple. Fitter OD is 2-9/16”
The ridges in the glass are fairly irregular.
Glass is frosted In & Out, but seems to be worn smooth in spots.
Wire is soldered/welded by hand.
Has glue traces on the bottom, as shown,
Where something seems to have been attached.
Glass looks old, as does wire.
Modern Fake?
The hand painted pink one has a GROUND hole on one side.
Hole is about 1-1/4” ID & 1-1/2” OD.
It has a groove MELTED into the other end. (Last Photo)
It will not sit flat when placed on the groove end, it tilts.
Gold paint/leaf on back side. Signature? (Design is worn)
Glass looks old, has swirls/ridges in it.
Are these Lighting globes? Something else?
Ideas?
Thanks!
