I'm not sure what to call this thing. I'm wanting to list it, but not sure what to say about it. Any help appreciated!!

Can't say for sure, but it looks Indian to me. Some Indian friends of mine, year ago, used something similar. The picture below is one that I picked up from Google. It looks very similar to the one that you have, and closely resembles the vintage version that my friens loved so much.

It's a Chafing Dish.
Depending on what you were serving...
You would use the single pan or both pans, and when using both pans, you would put a small amount of boiling water in the first pan, and then place the other pan inside (for cream soups and other dishes that wouldn't hold up, or would burn with direct heat from the Sterno).
So, it is a Chafer and two inserts.
