does anyone have a formula for keeping prices down on an antique or collectable item AND still keep shipping low or for free?  it seems the high end sites (1st dibbs) get outrageous prices for items i can't even move for under 100.? should i market myself differently... ? thanks in advance

You either need to find lighter things to sell or you need to increase your shipping charges. Can you really ship that 18 x 8 mirror for $14.00. Seems like a nice mirror,  why not $119.99 or $129.99 with free shipping.

I wouldn't stop to pick up that mirror if I saw it laying on the street. I sell some books, some mid century stuff, and  I also live in New York. You have me confused with someone who likes bad design.
