Hi all, I have had this little 4 inch man with a beard carrying a staff for several years and am finally trying to find out a little more info about him.. He looks like he is a bronze plate over lead and he is vey heavy. He has no markings on him at all.. I just love him and wondered if anyone could tell me what he represents.. thanks in advance for any help... Gloria

Hi all, I posted this little man on the antique discussion and he was ID as a Scribe Ushabti.. I was vey surprised as I have another one and it has blue faince on it and is nothing like this one.. Of course I do not believe that this one is real, and there is no way to tell from a photo.. It was fun to know what it is though and it can now go into my box again until I get settled.. I am bringing home a box a week to go through and share some items from.. gloria
