What is this mark? French Platinum Diamond Brooch.

I have the mark below on a diamond platinum brooch, does anyone know who the maker is? RSL are the initials.

Please post photo's of the front of the brooch, also any other markings, especially the Platinum mark.

BTW...how did you determine that the brooch is French??

Pic 1: On the platinum piece itself, a bird and a dog.

Pic 2: on the 18k gold stem a bird with the RSL mark already shown

I believe these are the french export marks and platinum and gold marks.

can't help with who maker is, but that is almost certainly the makers tradmark.  The design of the brooch is 1950's. That may help narrow the search.  It's lovely!
