I am not sure it is jewelry. It looks more like a crystal for a light, probably Art Deco period.

I don't know and am away from home for a few months - when I get home, I will see and let u know. My Mom just passed and it was her Mother's but I don't know where my Grandmother got it from - going thru some things - I found a pic of my Grandmother wearing it around her neck at one of her birthday's day parties so I know it meant something to her.
