Today we are launching our Authenticity Guarantee service for sneaker sales on eBay, ensuring greater protection for sellers.
All eligible sold items will be meticulously inspected by independent authenticators before they’re sent to your buyer. If your buyer chooses to return the item, the authenticators will inspect it before sending it back to you. Authenticity Guarantee for sneakers is free for a limited time, and sellers still pay no final value fee on sneakers that sell for more than $100.
At this time, only new Jordan and Yeezy sneakers listed in the Men’s or Women’s Athletic Shoes categories that sell for $200 or more are eligible for Authenticity Guarantee. We are first including items from select sellers and rapidly expanding eligibility to all sellers in sneakers. The service will continue to expand to additional brands, item conditions, and prices in the future.
If your item is eligible for authentication, the blue “Authenticity Guarantee” check mark will automatically appear on the listing. When your eligible item sells, you will receive a confirmation email indicating the item was sold with Authenticity Guarantee, and this information will be noted in your order details in Seller Hub.
