Not terribly creative, but shows you how you can display and/or store ACEOs in a 'different manner, if you want, or even a way to give a gift of ACEOs to someone.
I had these decorative tin hearts left over from a project where i painted the fronts of them. So ... also keep in mind that you might want to paint them, too - a cream crackle finish would look great.
To hold the ACEO on the front I've used magnetic holders I sell in my store, they are flat, but you can also get acrylic frames with a magnet stuck on the back. I have them in black & also white. Here I use the black one.
If buying an item, you might like to test that a magnet will stick to it first.

Step one.
If you have any wired embellishments - this butterfly is on a long wire - you can secure them to the hanging wires, if you have any.
Step two.
With a hot glue gun, glue some artificial flowers and foliage - stems to the inside of the container, then spread out the leaves and so forth, and spread them over onto the front of the container, to attractively 'frame' where your ACEO will be displayed.
Be careful with the glue gun. It's hot. Use a something other than your finger to hold things down in place. Don't stick yourself to the item! *grin*
Step three.
Hot glue any major embellishments to the front - again, enhancing or framing the ACEO. You might like to put the ACEO on the container, so you can see exactly how it all 'works' together.
Here I've hot glued a red heart -picking up the red of the butterfly.
See how I've kept colors to a minimum.
You might like to glue on a beaded fringe or other 'dangles' these can be very attractive.
Or even drill little holes so you and dangle items.
Step four.
Hot glue some 'accent' foliage, maybe dried flowers. Something light to enhance the major foliage you've already added.
This is done by gluing down inside the container.
Even tulle or a lovely 'scrunched' fabric can look great - maybe even fabric with glitter sparkles.
Step 5.
Check the front, and decide if you want to glue some more major elements.
Here I added a silver 'love' heart, and firmly positioned the butterfly I wired on earlier.
Step 6.

A card-pack size container fits PERFECTLY inside.
You might like to look for packs of cards - often at dollar stores or souvenir shops, in clear packages, so you can store ACEOs inside, and keep them inside the displays, and change out the main display ACEO with frequently.
I will also try to do a template to make an acetate box for you to store ACEOs in, in the near future.
