Anyone else having this problem???

One email address I have had for over 12 years gets 10-50 spoof emails each week. I take one day a week to clear it out and send to the organizations as 'spoof' mail. I am starting to get them at another email address where I didn't get them before, but the server is marking them as spam. I still go in and send them as spoof, hoping to combat this.

I keep getting emails about making private parts larger. (I don't think the spammers know that I am female!) Fortunately, yahoo puts in in my spam folder. I just go into the folder once a day and delete. ?:| Jana

Anyone else having this problem???

Not long ago I had to CANCEL an account I had because the server pretty much "got stuck", there were about 1000 (I kind you not) spam emails downloading, killed my inbox :( Gmail has a really good SPAM filter and folder, still I get an average of 200 a week. Several PAYPAL ones, too.

I do use spam filters, always have. It just seemed that the past few days they have been more aggressive than usual.

I've gotten quite a few spoof PayPal e-mails in the last couple of days - highly annoying!! I just forward 'em to spoof@paypal.com -Ann

I get all kinds too... from "hi baby i saw you online wanna get together?" to the increase your you-know-what size too. The most annoying are the tons of RUSSIAN spam that I get. I can only surmise that somehow one of the Estonian news services that I signed up for sold a mailing list with my email addy on it. Recently my husband started getting Russian spam too though, and he doesn't speak Estonian OR Russian.

I've won the British lottery three times this week! Funny . . . I don't remember entering. ;) I'm on AOL and they have a really good spam filter system in place, so a lot of it doesn't make it through to me. However, spoofs from ebay and PayPal scammers DO come through because they have the address of ebay.com. I have to echo Ann and say report them all to spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com. It's important to report them because ebay can't investigate them if you just delete. It's safe to open them and forward them, just don't click on any links.

I wonder if it is "revenge" for one of the big spammers getting caught. I did also notice this, but it's a bit more of already a whole lot. And some con woman or women ran the "pigeon drop" scam on elderly ladies in 2 mall parking lots here in Delaware. You'd think the WORD WOULD NOW BE OUT (after 200 years of this scam) but no...
