Hi ,
We need to integrate with eBay API. However, upon reviewing your documentation, we understand that the current limit is set to 5,000 requests per day. Given our volume of operations, this limit is not feasible for our needs.
We have also observed that certain third-party developers have been granted the ability to process a higher volume of requests per day for their software that utilizes the eBay API. Examples of such service providers are visible on ebay site below link :
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sellercentre/grow-your-sales/service-providers
We would like to inquire about the possibility of obtaining a significantly higher limit, or ideally, an unlimited number of API requests per day as a service provider. Could you please provide us with the necessary steps to apply for an increased request limit and/or how to become service provider as in the above link.
We look forward to your guidance on this matter.
Regards
Sasika

Hi @saschandr-42,
You can submit a "Application Growth Check" request to increase the API call limits for your application when your application is close to hit the daily API limit. The application growth check is a free service that the eBay Developers Program provides to its members.
Note: To check your daily API usage you can use getRateLimits call of Developer’s Analytics API.

Hi Support Team,
Thank you very much for the quick response.
In our situation, we are looking to develop a commercial software product using eBay APIs, therefore this mechanism is not practical for us. According to our calculation, 5000 hits would go over with in about 4 hours and it is not possible to wait to get another quota via Application Growth Check. That is going to break our service.
Please let us know how we can get the required API call limit before going to production.
Regards,
Sasika
