Hi,
I have been doing some pen and ink drawings but when I go to fill them in with colour the outlines are no longer a deep black, but washed out, due to being covered in whatever medium I'm using, watercolour or pencil. The only thing I've found that doesn't cause this to happen is inks.
How do you get your pen drawings to stay crisp and deep after you've coloured them in?

Hi retro-rani,
I like to outline in ink after I color in (I first make a sketch in pencil). I work mostly with watercolors, so I don't know if it would work well with pencils.
BTW, you might want to use the thread below to ask questions, since it is pinned at the top and easier to find than individual posts.
