Round Robin 2010 Spoiler Thread II

ha ha ha. no wonder he was an ahole, he had small man's complex, so he took it out on you. My first husband was raised by an ultra disciplinarian, and he was very abusive. he used to say I never finished anything and that I always had too many irons in the fire. that was his favorite quote. I did have many, but I finished them!! Second husband was very supportive but he hated himself, so there wasn't much I could do and I ran out of energy, especially after he told me he didn't want kids after 6 years, and my baby making days spent on him. Now, I have Eric, My MF, who is the greatest!!! and that's that! If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you must accept your mate, because there is no saving or changing them!! only they can do that, and you will waste your life trying! -- NEVER EVER GIVE UP! I love you all! You have really become so important to me...I don't know if you know that, but just reading about each other and feeling a sisterhood has been a lovely and happy experience. If I win the lottery, we will all go on a trip my treat! (ROFL) Rebecca -- NEVER EVER GIVE UP! Be a patron of the arts: Art and science keep us civil! http://www.smellyrhino.com

Round Robin 2010 Spoiler Thread II

Just got the snail in the mail today. (I like that and it was even quick for once-the mail, not the snail :)). Now I have to decide what to do to it since it looks like I'm the last one till it goes back to Cheryl. I think we all should pick a spot in between everyone and meet for a few days. It would be so much fun! We used to do that in the SCD (Society of Craft Designers) group I used to belong to. The seminar was always in a differnt place each year. The year my first husband died, I went to it at Lake Tahoe. Lots of firsts. First time on an airplane. First time leaving my kids behind. We met with publishers, magazine editors and CEO's from craft supply manufacturers. I could have been on Aleene's TV crafting show, but I met my ex instead and stayed in Nebraska. (She flew designers out to California for the show and put them up in a hotel. Aleene Jackson was a great lady!). Yeah, Cheryl, I've actually started selling higher priced ACEO's again. I have some wonderful buyers that collect specific animals and fantasy art. There for awhile, it was pretty slow. Becca, I usually check in on this thread every morning. Everyone here is like my ray of sunshine for the day. (Especially since it is SNOWING here AGAIN!!!). Kim

My bad. I didn't mean she was a great lady. I meant she is a great lady. Yes, I think Aleene's still alive and crafting!

Hey Becca, if I win the lottery, too, we can all go on another trip. Let's see, we can go with Bev to the Philippines, up to Alaska to visit Artist Sue Taylor's parents, then over to the East coast to visit Deb and Kelly...oh, and isn't Southie in Canada? We could just bum around spreading good cheer and ACEO's where ever we go! :-x Kim

Is there a beach, a bar, a casino, umbrellas, and maybe get a glimpse of potential pool boys? LOL ps. I really have no intention of wearing a bathing suit though...I just want those features! Maybe vegas? -- NEVER EVER GIVE UP! Be a patron of the arts: Art and science keep us civil! http://www.smellyrhino.com

Sounds like fun, I am afraid of flying however - does anyone know how to get over that? Or we could just take an Alaskan cruise and I could drive to Seattle or Vancouver BC to catch the ship. As long as we are winning the lottery to do this the sky is the limit.

Since I was a Navy Brat growing up I never had a chance to be afraid of flying... just keep doing it and I'm sure the scaryness will go again. Besides I've heard there is a much better chance of dying in a car wreck than by plane... Good luck Debrah

It has taken me a week to get these done. Sorry. I will put them in the mail tomorrow. I just have had so much to do this week and not feeling up to par. In fact last night my family went up to the family farm for the week-end and I had to work today. Hope to go tomorrow.

oh, the Alaska Marine Highway!! A cruise worth taking! Let's do it as soon as there is money!!! A fence, a cat, a dog! I seem to recall that happening in the last round robin!! but, the cat wasn't caged then! LOL..or was it a mouse? Love the Clash of the Titans thing going on in the other one! I hope the new movie will be good, but I still like seeing Harry Hamlin with a toga. -- NEVER EVER GIVE UP! Be a patron of the arts: Art and science keep us civil! http://www.smellyrhino.com

Just one question, has anyone actually been buying any lottery tickets?? I think going anywhere sounds good. Right now a trip to the grocery store excites me. I think I have been in here with Max to long!! I'm going out to buy a lottery ticket, maybe even 2, if one of us wins enough we might even hire Alton to cook for us and maybe Mike Rowe would take us to some of his job sites. -- Reality was once someone's dream.
