Well I've been wondering about different ways to get the word out about our ACEO's and other art we create. If anyone would like to share their ideas and thoughts on how they drive more people to their auctions besides the just listing the art and hoping people will like it.
Do you use other public website's or personal website's to promote? Are there places in your town that do shows that you'd like to tell us about? Are there some other large art groups on eBay that you know of that many collectors and artist flock too?
I personally advertise on MySpace and in the groups ACEO ~ Art Cards Editions and Originals, ATC & ACEO Enthusiasts & Mexican DOTD Art Dia De Los Muertos Artists (when I do Skeletons or Day Of The Dead stuff). Are there any other groups that anyone would suggest or places where people gather to look at art and potentially buy art.
eBay may have a problem with listing website's (I'm not sure if they do or not) so if you think its not ok maybe just say the name of the site like MySpace and we can find it ourselves.
If you want to keep your secrets to yourself that's ok too I'm just trying to help everyone out a bit.

New Orleans is 5 minutes away I could see it if I could get on top of my apartment building. Look at a map of New Orleans and look at Metairie near Causeway Blvd. thats where I am and I work on the other side of New Orleans in a place called Gretna...I can see it from there too

I work as a typesetter...I hate typesetting...its poo poo...I was supposed to be a graphic designer/typesetter but all I do is typesetting 99.9% of the time and pretty much am thought of by the owner of the company as a button pushing monkey...its paying the bills
Katrina...well I was living in Slidell, LA across Lake Pontchartrain...if anyone saw the pictures of the twinspan bridge that collapsed during the storm we lived about two or three miles from there. I was staying with my Mom while recovering from being laid off...her house was destroyed, I was lucky that most of my stuff was in a storage unit.
Now I live in Metairie in my boring old apartment playing on the internet and making people I don't know laugh...I do need a life.
