COPYING ALERT from Hungary

Just a friendly warning that it has come to our attention that a person from Hungary is blatantly copying a member's art and putting it on eBay.  She was asked to stop by the member and has refused saying she did not reference the piece.  It is an identical mirror image.

If you see someone has copied one of yours and listed it (she even listed at the same unique price) please report to eBay.  Let's stop this kind of thing from happening.

People copy 'the masters' paintings all the time and it is only fraudulent if you sign it with their name and try to pass off the work as 'theirs'.  As long as you sign YOUR name on an original work, there's no law against it.  The person couldn't sell prints of someone elses hand painted cards... that would be fraud.  I'm not saying it's right.  But something wrong doesn't mean illegal.  IF we are talking about someone hand painting the same scene and signing it with their name.
