Buyer wrote note when paying saying that item he bought is a gift for his sister ...

Just sold something and buyer paid promptly. When he paid, the buyer added a note saying the item is a gift for his sis, whose address is different than his (though the shipping address of the sis has "confirmed" next to it on the message from Paypal that tells me seller has paid). I understand that since it's a gift, I won't add the usual packing slip in the package. But is there anything else I need to know or do (short of gift-wrapping it :)?

Confirmed hasn't meant anything for years.

What you need is if the sister's address is the one your buyer used when paying so that is the address showing on the paypal payment. You are ONLY protected as a seller if you ship to the address on the paypal payment.

Your good as long as the buyer changed delivery address before payment
Buyers name & ship to name & address don't have to match.

I buy and ship to my family & friends all the time

As long as Paypal email says confirmed & seller protection eligible & your money is in Paypal

Thank you. Yes, the address to sis was the address on the Paypal payment. Think I'm good on this.
