Easily link your social accounts to your eBay account

Earlier this year, we launched the Social page in Seller Hub, making it easy for Store subscribers to create custom posts by connecting their eBay account to their social accounts. Now, the Social page is available to not only Store subscribers but all eBay sellers in Seller Hub.

Save time by linking your Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest accounts and create custom posts that’ll delight your customers and drive traffic to your listings. You can also post to multiple platforms at once and get insights into the traffic you’re receiving to your Store, listings, and category pages from social media. While the Social page includes Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest for now, we’re exploring new ways to offer you a seamless integration with even more  platforms in the future.

Get started now with our step-by-step guide that’ll show you how to link your Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest accounts.

Please ensure that all questions and comments remain on topic. Any off topic posts will be moved to the appropriate board, so they can be answered by Community Members.

Will the Social function ever include the discounted 2.5% Final Value Fee for social sharing incentive that was announced at eBay Open in 2021?

It seems to have been put on an indefinite backburner since then but with a competing marketplace recently launching a very similar feature, now might be a great time to revisit it!

Previously eBay tested offering final value fee discounts in some small markets, and we are currently looking into ways to improve the experience before we offer to sellers again. We know this is an exciting feature for sellers, and we want to get it right before rolling out further.

Any time line for rolling out the referral discount? Q4 is pretty much upon us, so this would be a great time to provide that sort of incentive. Especially since we've been waiting since ebay Open 2021.

Thanks seller_update@ebay but it's been 2 years since the original announcement and at the time then VP Stores Tom Pinckney discussed it as a coming soon feature that had been in development for some time before that.

It was then tested in Australia for a limited time in early 2022 and we are now about a year and half past when that test ended.

Respectfully, this should be far past the "testing" and "looking for ways to improve" stage at this point. Sellers deserve at least a general timeframe of when they can expect to see this roll out or clear and transparent communication if the truth is that eBay does not plan to actually implement this.
