Opinions about Selling Pennies

I am going to start selling my father's pennies and am wondering what is the best way to sell: individually, by roll, or by the lot/sack? I find myself searching for coins all different ways, so I'd like to find out others opinions and experience with this.

If it is key date, semi-key date or early date in a high grade, sell it individually. Otherwise, I would sell them by roll by date range and/or mint mark.

I'll basically agree with the last post. If it is worth over $5 or more by itself(which would be key dates etc) then sell it separately. Otherwise selling them by the roll or a sack of 100 seems to be a good way of selling them. Just make sure you look through the coins you put in the sack or roll first. 😉

If they are wheats split them up into teens twenties thirties and 40s-50s (sell those in seperate lots). Also remove all key dates to sell individually.
