Happy belated 4th everyone!

Well, it's the end of the quarter and that means it's time for those eBay Bucks! I'm happy to say I walked off with a $14.19 bonus which was partially spent on this new French Sower. It's a series that I haven't pursued for quite some time, but when you find a good coin at a good price, then hey.

Awesome pickup! Looks like it was a BIN? Looks like it has lots of frosty luster and is uncirculated. I like the year 1919. When I was a kid and found a 1919 wheat penny I was thrilled. Why that date? I don't know, I just thought it was cool. LOL

Only a little over 5 bucks for me this time around.

The Franc arrived yesterday and is beautiful! Yes indeed Stormy it was a BIN, which I don't normally like but the price was right. It even came with a nice 3"x3" black velvet holder for the capsule which made for an attractive presentation.

Had to spend those last few bucks and found 2 new Walkers for my set. I already had these dates once, but sold 'em last year figuring on MS only coins for the late-date short set. I still hadn't replaced them and was getting impatient so here we are.

I blew my $5.89 toward these lots. I bid on 5 lots but only won these 3. If those Yun-Nan Province China dollars and the 5 Coronas from Austria are real thats about 3ozs. of silver for $30 bucks.

Well heres an update. The Yun-Nan Province China dollars didn't passed the magnet test and they aren't maked copy. I'm sure the seller knew and was just playing dumb to try and slide them past somebody. However the lots still had 1.8 oz total silver so I guess I'll be kind on his feedback.

Sorry to here about the fakes Stormy, that's not good at all! I remember hearing Cod or maybe Musicman talk about how Chinese copies would permeate the market through legitimate US sellers that bought the coin, then realized it was junk and decide to re-sell it.
