Hi all,
I wanted to sell some CPK dolls i have, however one of them doesn’t have the standard Xavier Robert signature. Despite all my research I can’t find a definitive reason for this, any thoughts?

My first thought is that the doll is one of the countless CPK knock offs. But there should be other identifying marks. This is my go-to page for CPK identification:

When Xavier Roberts first started out with CPK dolls, they were individual made by hand and he actually signed each one. There was a place in Georgia where you could buy these as opposed to the mass-produced ones sold in stores. That signature, as you've determined, looks nothing like the signature on the store bought ones, but I think we'd have to see the entire doll to know for sure. I think the hand-signed ones might have been called "Originals".
