Every time eBay changes something things get worse. There used to be a 'print' option on the item listing. That disappeared and there was a way of doing it thru the feedback menu. The new feedback menu is no improvement and the abbility to print the listing has diasppeared. Does anyone know a new workaround?

This was one method I copied and saved from these forums. Add you add is the item number. This trick is 2-3 years old. I have not used it in a couple of years so I do not know if it still works. Post back if it works for you.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=nnn
where nnn is the listing item number.

I just got off the phone with eBay and was told buyers don't need that option. I beg to differ because it gives me a way to have a record of exactly what I purchased along with all the details. So, after nearly 15 years of eBaying, I'm abandoning buying through eBay. When a company knows more than its customers, it's time to prove them wrong. If you don't know, Netflix was started by a guy who was p*ssed off at Block Buster for charging an unwarranted late fee. Ah, the sweet scent of karma! LOL

Where there's a will, there's a way! I dug into my roots as a programmer. Type this in as the address (URL) and you'll be able to see your purchased item in the old view:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=##############&view=all&tid=0
(where you see the ##########, type in the item number you purchased; end character is a zero)
Hope that helps everyone!

Ha! Found a workable solution in the short term (via an experienced Customer Service agent who knew what I was talking about) for unpaid items that have had invoices sent or for paid items. Log in to ebay.ie, go to purchase history, for the item of interest, select "view order details" (either from "more actions" dropdown if unpaid or the direct "view order details" link if paid), then if it's an unpaid item, the "View purchased item" will appear in the"available actions" column under the "Pay Now" dropdown OR if paid, in the "available actions" column, select the "Leave Feedback" dropdown and "View purchased item" will be there. VOILA!
This solution will NOT work for unpaid items for which an invoice has NOT been generated.

Hello everyone, I also faced the same problem and found a solution that works best for me:
1. Download the Firefox extension "Redirector by Einar Egilsson":
http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/redirector/
2. Create a new redirect (see below for details)
Now You have a button on the navigation bar to enable or disable Redirector.
While Redirector is enabled, whenever you click on "View order details" it will take you instead to the print page of that item.
Redirector Create Redirect rule:
Description: eBay View order details to print page
Example URL: http://payments.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewPaymentStatus&transId=0000000000000&itemid=01234567891...
Include pattern: http://payments.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewPaymentStatus&transId=*&itemid=*&*
Redirect to: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&item=$2&view=all&tid=$1
Pattern type: Wildcard
Bare in mind that this will only work until eBay change something again...
Hopes this helps.

Good find!, but why not just do a screen print...Cntrl-P in FireFox. Probably the same in most browsers.
Then you can let eBay change away.

Unfortunately, I don't believe this works for paid items because there is no "Available Actions" option anymore (that I could find). If I'm missing it, PLEASE let me know because the workaround that has worked for the last few months is now not working (changed within the last two weeks or so) and I'm so p*ssed at eBay that I'm finally going to get off my duff and find (or invent) another auction site that actually listens to its buyers and sellers!
This is now a cat-and-mouse game with eBay. Maybe I'm a bit paranoid but it seems as though they are actively thwarting any attempts for the buyer to have a complete record of what they purchased. eBay, are you listening?

This worked GREAT for the past few months. Now eBay has changed it up again. When you get the CGI address page, it brings up the item the same as it did before, but when you hit the PRINT option, it redirects you to the regular old listing with no print option. Anyone out there tech savvy enough to provide a new workaround? (If I find one, I promise to post it here.)

It works fine if you avoid the new purchase history page and switch back to the old one.
Order details is right there, and should be available for 60 days, and once on the order details page the following bookmarklet pulls up the printable item page with all the photos:
javaXscript:if(location.href.substring(0,42)==
'https://vod.ebay.com/vod/FetchOrderDetails'){window.location.href=
'http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemVersion&view=all'
+window.location.href.match(/\&itemid=[0-9]*[^\&]/i)[0].replace("id","")
+window.location.href.match(/\&transid=[0-9]*[^\&]/i)[0].replace("rans","");}
(remove the X from javaXscript in the above in your bookmarklet)

THANK YOU! You're a lifesaver! I have not tried it on an order with multiple items but it worked beautifully on a single item order. I can't thank you enough!
