We are receiving this message when trying to contact the ebay buy while using the Outlook client on Office 365.

Don't get block next time. Send your messages from a registered eBay email address

Hi [seller name],

Oops. We weren't able to send your message to [buyer member name], because the email address you used to send this message, [there is nothing here] , isn't linked to your eBay account.

To keep eBay safe, we need you to send messages from the registered eBay email address. This will prevent your messages from being blocked in the future. This is easy enough to fix, just do one of the following:

  • Change your registered eBay email address to [there is nothing here]. Go to eBay registration help to learn how.
  • Send your messages from [email address of our account].  This is the email address you already have registered with eBay.

For assistance, you can contact eBay Customer Support at: Contact Us

Thanks,
eBay

What we noticed in the email is that there is no reference to the email address being sent from, it's just blank in the email where we have indicated [there is nothing here].

But the real kicker is that we are sending from [email address of our account] and office 365 message trace says it is being delivered, but the buyer never sees the message and it never bounces back.

Anyone seeing this and have any idea how to resolve?

Thanks,

Kevin

Did you ever solve this problem? We're having the same thing. eBay support are useless.
